Your life’s purpose is discovered within the process.
Ms. HiSmith’s surname is derived from the word ‘Journeyman’ or ‘Blacksmith,’ referring to a craftsman who works with iron. Throughout the centuries, blacksmiths undertook various laborious tasks to improve their communities. By harnessing the power of fire, they produced agricultural tools, artistic creations, weaponry, and armor. To meet the demands of society, blacksmiths developed a system to officially recognize those who fulfilled their commitments in learning the craft. From this system, the apprenticeship was born.
