Vision
At Nigisti HiSmith Ministries, our vision is a world where every community thrives with resilience and equity, starting with the empowerment of women at the heart of holistic development. We envision communities where every individual, especially women, has the opportunity to unlock their full potential, leading to sustainable, thriving neighborhoods.
We envision a future where women are not only recognized as essential contributors but also as catalysts for positive change within their communities. Through our comprehensive approach to community development, we aim to address the interconnected challenges facing structurally vulnerable neighborhoods, including poverty, lack of access to education and healthcare, environmental degradation, and social inequality.
Our organization is committed to fostering a culture of empowerment, where women are equipped with the resources, skills, and support networks needed to lead transformative change. By investing in education, vocational training, entrepreneurship opportunities, and leadership development for women, we strive to create a ripple effect of empowerment that uplifts entire communities.
Through collaborative partnerships and community-led initiatives, we work towards creating inclusive environments where women are valued, respected, and given equal opportunities to thrive. We believe that by prioritizing the well-being and agency of women, we can unlock the full potential of communities, paving the way for sustainable development, social justice, and lasting change.
Together, we envision a future where every woman is empowered to shape her own destiny, and every community is strengthened by the diverse talents, voices, and contributions of its members. Join us as we work towards building a world where every community is a beacon of resilience, prosperity, and hope for generations to come.”
Belief
We believe Gd is Love (1 John 4:8) and we believe in the Doctrine of Christ (2 John 1:9-11).
2 John 1:9-11 KJV Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrineof Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
2 John 1:9-11 NIV – 9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.
The Doctrine of Christ:
- Christ was born of a virgin birth.
- There is one true God whose name is YHWH (Father, Son, & Holy Spirit).
- Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave on the third day.
- Christ offers salvation through the forgiveness of sin.
- After repentance of sin can you receive the gift of salvation.
- Repentance: the act of leaving what Gd has forbidden, and returning to His commandments.
- Salvation: the saving from sin and its consequences, which include death and separation from God.
- Sanctification initially begins at salvation.
- Divine Healing of the sick is the privilege of those who follow.
- 3 Baptisms: Water Baptism, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the Baptism of Fire
- Christ is coming back for the body of believers.
- Millennial Reign – Government resting on Christ shoulders.
- Judgement
- New Heaven and a New Earth
